Here I collect links that I would like to bookmark in a way more long-lived than the bookmark bar in my browser.

I will begin with Terence Tao's career advice for mathematicians that should in large parts also be applicable to nascent computer scientists. Another interesting category is his collected advice on writing papers which has surprisingly little focus on mathematics.

For anything graduate student I like Matt Might's blog. He is a professor at the university of Utah and has published a collection of articles on surviving grad school among other. According to his own notes they are mostly detailed accounts of answers and advice that he gives to his own new PhD students every year.
